My expertise lies in identifying student's areas of need and creating lessons and activities that will help them make gains in these areas. I am able to use content material to structure lessons around relevant topics covered in their classes. I can support them with school assignment in many ways. I am very familiar with the Common Core Standards and can help students reach proficiency in these areas.

Hobbies
I am an avid reader, walker, gardener and cook. I grow my own herbs and vegetables in order to have fresh produce on hand. Hiking is another passion which I mainly get to explore during the summer. I have three children ranging from Middle to High School. They are all involved in various after school activities, which I strongly encourage, but academics always comes first. Children are not always amenable to their parents helping them at home, but I have been able to successfully support my own children at home with their academics by using teaching methods I practice at school. I am confident that I can help your child grow academically and boost their confidence.
