I have five years of experience as an educator, including turns as a literacy aid in kindergarten, substitute teaching, paraprofessional work, tutoring, and now teaching Spanish at the elementary school level. I went to the University of Vermont to earn my degrees in elementary education Spanish. I also earned a global studies minor. I'm very patient and compassionate with my students, and I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to help each student learn most effectively. With each student, I identify their interests and include activities and games to help make learning relatable to them and fun. I can assist students in algebra, Spanish, elementary school math, ESL, reading, English, pre-algebra, middle school math, AP Spanish-language and culture, and related courses. In my free time, I like to hike, read, cook, play soccer, camp, and travel.
