Mark K.
Private tutor in Haverhill, MA
Education
I have a Ph.D. in Logic and the Philosophy of Science from Columbia University (1993). While there, I graded and taught logic. After that, I taught as an adjunct at New Hampshire College (now Southern NH University) where I taught Business Ethics, Philosophy, Business Government and the Environment, and Changing Roles of Men and Women. I have also recently taught in the Computer Science department at Merrimack College where I taught an AI course and a Computer Organization and Design. At Brown University, I obtained and A with distinction in Applied Math freshman year and became a grader.
Experience
I recently tutored a High School student with a learning disability and helped her to get an A in Trigonometry through some very difficult times. Year ago, I tutored a graduate student at Tufts in Philosophy. I really love helping students learn and succeed and am down-to-Earth and very versatile. For six years, I worked at Blue Fang Games, a game company in Waltham where I was the first full-time programmer on the best-selling title, "Zoo Tycoon".
